Jonathan Valletta, LMHC, NCC, CMAP

Jonathan Valletta is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Master’s Level Addiction Professional. He provides compassionate, individualized therapy for adults experiencing a wide range of mental health, substance use, and life-transition concerns.

Jonathan earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Child Psychology, from the University of North Florida in 2010. He completed the Applied Behavior Analysis program and certification through the Florida Institute of Technology in 2012, followed by a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in 2015. After completing his post-graduate supervision, he became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2018.

Jonathan brings extensive clinical and leadership experience in behavioral health. For the past two years, he has served as an Associate Clinical Director, overseeing a team of more than 40 clinicians. Prior to this role, he held clinical leadership positions for two years and served as Lead Clinician for a dual-diagnosis intensive outpatient program and Lead Social Worker for an inpatient psychiatric facility.

Jonathan primarily serves adults ages 18 and older. His clinical interests include substance use disorders, social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder and other anxiety-related concerns, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, grief, adjustment disorders, and major life transitions. He also works with men’s issues, anger management, self-worth, and self-esteem concerns.

Originally born in Long Island, New York, Jonathan moved with his family to Melbourne, Florida, at age eight and later relocated to Jacksonville for college. He comes from a large Italian family and enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and cycling. An avid bicycle enthusiast, Jonathan enjoys working on and restoring bikes. He is married, the father of two children, and a proud cat dad.
