Cindy Wilson is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Florida.
Cindy has over 35 years of experience in the mental health field, working in both clinical and administrative settings. She began her career as a staff nurse and has worked in a variety of specialty areas, including child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, psychiatric intensive care units, chemical dependency/addictions, and eating disorders.
Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Cindy served as Director of Nursing for a psychiatric hospital. She has since worked as an APRN in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Cindy provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care for adults of all ages with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She has a special interest in treating postpartum depression and ADHD and serves as a referral liaison for clients who require more specialized medical care.
Cindy takes great pride in providing excellent advanced nursing care and helping clients achieve optimal well-being.
