Katharine earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and elementary education from Converse College and her Master of Social Work from Florida State University. A licensed clinical social worker since 2017, she is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems Theory. Her clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Tallahassee Memorial Behavioral Health Center, including three years as the primary clinician for the Child and Adolescent Unit. Prior to joining Capital City Psychiatry, she served as a treatment coordinator at the FSU Counseling Center. She enjoys working with young adults, but also sees patients ages 12 and up.
A Tallahassee resident since childhood, she is the mom of two young boys and enjoys family time, staying active, traveling, and needlepoint.
