Dr. Flores obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. She pursued a medical degree from the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, PR. With a steadfast commitment to providing comprehensive psychiatric care, Dr. Flores completed her training at the UCF/HCA Florida Healthcare Graduate Medical Education Consortium, located in Kissimmee, Florida. She holds a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), demonstrating specialized expertise in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. During her training, she was appointed as the Administrative Chief Resident, assisting with the clinical, educational, and administrative responsibilities of the program.
Dr. Flores has embraced a holistic approach to patient care, understanding the intricate relationship between mental health, physical well-being, and social factors. She strongly believes in fostering a supportive and compassionate therapeutic environment where individuals can heal and thrive.
