Iraida Miller earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The College of Saint Scholastica and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She completed advanced training through the Florida State University Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program and the University of South Alabama Adult-Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Florida State University.
With more than ten years of clinical experience, Iraida has practiced in both primary care and psychiatric settings. She began her career at Mayo Clinic, where she worked in inpatient psychiatry, gaining a strong foundation in acute mental health care. At the Florida State University Wellness Center, she later contributed to the development of an eating disorder treatment program and expanded her experience in treating college student populations. Her clinical interests include anxiety disorder, college student mental health, and the psychiatric care of peri-menopausal women.
Iraida is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care that promotes long-term mental health and overall well-being. In addition to her clinical work, she enjoys the outdoors and is an avid reader of nonfiction.
