Dr. Kitch holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Florida and completed her internship at the Child and Adolescent Service Center in Canton, Ohio. She is especially interested in anxiety disorders, trauma, and women’s issues. Dr. Kitch specializes in psychological testing for children and adolescents, while her therapeutic work is dedicated exclusively to adults. Over her more than 30 years of experience in mental health, she has practiced in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including large institutions and private practices. Dr. Kitch is a volunteer faculty member at the University of Central Florida and serves as core alternative faculty with a local residency program. Growing up, she moved frequently throughout the Eastern United States, which enriched her perspective and adaptability. Licensed for over three decades, she is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for adult clients with trauma, anxiety disorders, and depression.
