If you’re experiencing symptoms that interfere with your daily life, relationships, work, or school for more than two weeks, it may be time to seek professional help. Common signs can include:

  • Persistent sadness, anxiety, or feeling empty
  • Difficulty sleeping or changes in sleep patterns
  • Loss of interest in activities you used to enjoy
  • Difficulties concentrating/making decisions
  • Changes in appetite or weight
  • Feeling overwhelmed by daily responsibilities
  • Thoughts of self-harm or suicide

We provide comprehensive mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults, including:

  • Medication Management – Psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication monitoring
  • TMS Therapy – Innovative treatment for depression that hasn’t responded to medications
  • Individual Therapy – One-on-one counseling using evidence-based approaches
  • Child & Adolescent Psychiatry – Specialized care for young people ages 6-17
  • Couples & Family Therapy – Relationship and family counseling
  • Psychological Testing – Assessments for diagnosis and treatment planning

We are in-network providers for: 

  • Capital Health Plan (CHP)
  • Medicare Part B
  • UnitedHealthcare (Commercial Plans Only) 

We also welcome patients with out-of-network insurance benefits.  We recommend calling your insurance provider to verify your mental health benefits and understand your coverage for out-of-network providers.

Your first appointment will be an evaluation where your provider will:

  • Discuss your current symptoms and concerns
  • Review your medical and mental health history
  • Ask about your family history of mental health conditions
  • Discuss any medications you’re currently taking
  • Talk about your goals for treatment
  • Develop a personalized treatment plan 

Initial appointments typically last 60-90 minutes. Please bring a list of current medications, any previous psychiatric records, and your insurance card. It’s also helpful to write down your questions beforehand.

Yes. We maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws and professional ethics. Your health information is protected and will not be shared without your consent except in very limited circumstances. These include when you sign a release to share this information with other healthcare providers, immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, cases suspecting of child or elder abuse, or when required by a court order. 

We understand that sometimes you need to reschedule your appointment. Please call our office as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice when possible.
