Dr. Eader is a psychiatrist who cares for patients ages 18 and older, with clinical interests in depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorders. He earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, completed his first residency in Public Health at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Washington, D.C., and later completed a Psychiatry residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has practiced as both a Public Health physician and a psychiatrist, and has held multiple leadership roles at the clinic, department, and hospital levels throughout his career. He is actively involved in medical education as an Adjunct Professor, teaching and supervising students from both Florida State University and the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he brings a broad range of experiences to his work. Originally from a small town of about 1,200 people in west central Michigan on the shores of Lake Michigan, he went on to live and work across the United States and abroad during his Army career—including New York, Kentucky, Germany, Arizona, Missouri, Georgia, Washington, D.C., Louisiana, Iraq, Florida, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Hawaii—before settling in Sarasota after retiring from the Army in 2018.
