Initial appointments typically last 60-90 minutes. Please bring a list of current medications, any previous psychiatric records, and your insurance card. It’s also helpful to write down your questions beforehand.
Yes. We maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws and professional ethics. Your health information is protected and will not be shared without your consent except in very limited circumstances. These include when you sign a release to share this information with other healthcare providers, immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, cases suspecting of child or elder abuse, or when required by a court order.
We understand that sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If that happens, please contact our office as soon as possible. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation or no-show fee.
